Life coaching is a journey for people who have lived mostly with success and satisfaction and are ready to enhance what they’ve already done, or to move in a new direction. It’s distinct from psychotherapy in that your coach assumes you are whole, creative, and resourceful. Instead of examining your past and deep psychological motives, you make a few adjustments and improvements — or even create a new future for yourself based on your current state of being and what you value most. Using the information that surfaces in our conversations you will be able to identify and release your “stuck” patterns, open yourself to new possibilities, and more consciously move on with your journey.
You’ll be as successful with coaching as you are able to be open to new possibilities, to be curious, to allow yourself to be vulnerable, and to consciously examine your current behavior patterns. When you have recognized those patterns you’ll choose to keep and perhaps adjust some patterns and let go of others that no longer serve you. You have the possibility to align your life with what authentically matters to you, and so improve the world within and around you.
